Three More Wins Move Warriors to 5-0
The Warriors continue their early season drive with three more victories, moving to 5-0.
An election night win against Queen City Prep (North Carolina) 75-63 (Box Queen PDF) was a sloppy one, with the team committing 21 turnovers. The game started 90 minutes late following a delay to its start by vehicle trouble by the Queen City team.
MoMo Jones and Tiny Gallon led the Warriors with 20-points each.
The team came out much stronger Friday night, a game against the Patterson School, a scheduling adjustment. The Warriors won the game by a resounding 116-84 score (Box Score PDF).
Tony Gallon led the team with a double-double, 23 points and 10 rebounds. Five other players — Lamb, Allen, Bryant, Howard and Alexcih — scored in double figures and MoMo Jones added nine assists and seven points.
On Saturday night, the Warriors defeated Veritas Christian (NC) 94-47 (Box Score – PDF).
