Pe’Shon Howard’s Final Diary Entry

Congratulations is all I’ve been hearing the last few days because I graduate Saturday, May 22nd, and I start college May 26th. It’s a fast transition, not giving me too much time to reflect, but the past few days I’ve been thinking about my time on the Hill — 3 years.

For sure, Rondo can sometimes play too fast and try to force the issue, hence his six turnovers. Plus, his jumper continues to be unreliable. But his speed and quickness are explosive, he’s extremely creative when he’s challenged after zipping into the lane, and his court awareness seems to expand game by game…

Pe’Shon Howard’s Diary #7 – Finishing Strong

Throughout the 2009-2010 season, OakHillHoops.com features personal stories from our players.

March 5, 2010 — I’m back! I haven’t written in a while. Sorry for the absence, but now the regular season is over. We ended strong by beating Benedictine HS in Richmond, VA. Roscoe, Juwan & I were all in double figures.

We bused back after the game & got to campus really late and then had Senior night. We beat Oak Ridge Military. The whole team played really well & we are now 29-3.

Juwan Staten’s Diary #8 – A Break

We finished up the regular season on a good note with impressive wins over Benedictine HS in Richmond & then Oak Ridge Military Academy in Turner Gym on Senior Night. Our record right now is 29-3, and we still have the ESPN Rise Tournament on April 1-3 over Easter Weekend in Baltimore.
