Check out pics from today’s special assembly, celebrating your 2012 National Championship Oak Hill Academy Warriors! Nike, ESPN and Josten’s representatives were on campus to present the team with their National Championship trophy, rings and apparel.

National Championship Awards Ceremony
The 2011-12 Oak Hill Academy Warriors will be awarded their National Championship trophy this Friday, May 11th at 11:00am. The ceremony will be held in Fletcher Chapel on OHA’s campus, and is open to the public. Representatives from ESPN, Josten’s and Nike will be on site to present the trophy to the team.
Please join the Warriors Friday morning for this special assembly honoring an historic 8th National Championship for Oak Hill Academy! What a great way to celebrate a perfect 44-0 season!

Recap: The Perfect Season
“Win as One.” Coach Smith often stated he really liked the work ethic and togetherness this year’s team exhibited. The togetherness carried throughout the season and Coach Smith’s quote “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships” will be the torch for the 2011-12 Oak Hill Warriors team.
LSI Champions
The Warriors nabbed their fifth Les Schwab Invitational Championship in Beaverton, OR Friday night and advanced to 25-0. Oak Hill defeated Jesuit 57-50. Jordan Adams was named to the All-Tournament Team and Tyler Lewis was crowned MVP.

Warriors Head to Iolani Championship, Face Montrose Christian
Tiny Gallon had 17 points and Lamont Jones added 15 as the Warriors held on to defeat the LeFlore (Alabama) Rattlers (USA Today #13) 68-66 to earn a trip to the Iolani Classic’s championship game on Monday in Honolulu.
The team will take on a familiar foe Monday for the crown in Montrose Christian, MD, ranked #7 in USA Today. Montrose defeated Fairfax (California) 45-38 to earn the matchup.
