The season's first updated rankings are upon us, fresh off a crazy week of high school basketball at Holiday Hoopsgiving, Thanksgiving Hoopfest, Charlotte Hoops Challenge and many nationally-recognized tournaments.

Denton Guyer (TX) makes their debut in the Power 25, fresh off two huge wins at the Thanksgiving Hoopfest over South Garland and No. 15 Westlake - who exit the rankings after the loss. Juniors De'Vion Harmon and Jalen Wilson were exceptional for Guyer, who made it clear that they are one of the top dogs in Texas.

Shadow Mountain also debuts, taking the spot of former No. 10 Wesleyan Christian, who drops from the rankings after a loss to Norcross. The Matadors have yet to play this season, and earn the spot that would have gone to Chicago's Morgan Park had they completed the upset over now No. 7 Findlay Prep.

Sunrise Christian (KS) makes the biggest jump, riding a huge win over former No. 7 Prolific Prep. The Buffaloes move up 14 spots, settling in at No. 9.

Other than Findlay and Prolific Prep, the only other squad to see a dip in their ranking is Webster Groves (MO). The Statesmen received some rough news last week, as senior superstar Courtney Ramey will miss 5-6 weeks with a broken wrist. The injury doesn't warrant a drop from the rankings completely, but the Statesmen will be on upset watch to open the season.
