This coming weekend, Phenom Hoop Report will be hosting our second annual National High School Showcase at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville, NC. 20 teams will be making their way to western Forsyth County to showcase their talents to a plethora of scouts, college coaches, and passionate fans. After thorough review of the field, our team decided to put together a little “sneak preview” of individual players and matchups that people won’t want to miss.

Oak Hill Academy Players To Watch
Junior Matt Coleman
· This young man is ranked as one of the top point guards in the nation for his class and is getting Division I looks from all around the country. He has elite speed, controls the tempo, and certainly shows how complete he is knocking down open jumpers, while get to the rim and finish. Complete guard and fun to watch. He holds offers from Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, VCU, Virginia, Memphis, UConn, Texas, Indiana, and more.
Senior Braxton Key
· Already committed to Alabama, this forward has a load of talent and really has developed his overall game. He possesses the strength and length, while also showing a non-stop motor. He can be used in several sets on offense, whether it is down low or along the outside, this young man is a talent that you don’t want to miss.
Junior TyShon Alexander
· This young man recently committed to Creighton and they are getting a good one. Last year, he was learning the ropes at Oak Hill but now, he is a valuable option for Coach Smith. He has worked on his perimeter game and could be their most consistent shooter. He also can play multiple positions if needed as he is very versatile on the court.
Senior Mario Kegler
· A t6’7, 218 pounds, this senior forward is a hoss down low in the paint and with Giles now out, becomes even bigger for Oak Hill. He can not only get it done in the post but also take his game out to the perimeter to know down shots. Programs like Maryland, Arizona State, LSU, and Mississippi State are showing the most interest.
Junior Devontae Shuler
· Phenom has been high on this kid and believes this kid is a Top 20 caliber guy. With him at Oak Hill, it gives them another elite type scorer on all levels of the floor. He knows how to score the ball when it is in his hand and is one of the best players in his class. Expect Shuler to continue to grow into his role and become a big-part for Oak Hill.
Senior Rodney Miller
· The Miami kid is a 6’11 bruiser, coming in at 250 pounds. With Giles out for the season, Miller will be a go to guy down low for Oak Hill, along with players like Khadim Sy, Mario Kegler, and others.
Junior Lindell Wigginton
· Wigginton and Coleman could create one the best backcourts in the country at Oak Hill this season. Wigginton has grown into a tough competitor and plays the game right. He is very mature at the point guard position and he doesn’t hurt his team. He is under control with the ball in his hands and can knock down the open shot.
